Well I got it finished tonight.
Highlights :
Case - Frankenmoded Datamax Kid's Delight
Screen - Unmodded Zenith Psone
Batteries - 14.8v 4700mAh Li-Polys
Controllers - Gamecube, Mini Gamecube, Wii Classic 3rd Party, Dreamcast Quantam Fighterpad
Notes :
1. Memory card relocated to top.
2. Disc Drive relocated with ffc extensions.
3. 2-way switch for running off batteries or wall.
4. About 90 hours of work more or less.
Well here it is :
Added a disc cover that I'm not 100% sure I am happy with. I may change it or even paint it.

Re: Hailrazer's Gamecube Portable
Man, oh man.
I could go on for quite a while about this portable. Fantastic, spectacular, all-around an amazing job!
I've built two Gamecube portables, so I can really appreciate the work that you put into this unit! The case came out great, and I definitely like the abxy buttons, that's pretty stylish. I know exactly what you mean when you say you heavily modified the L and R triggers, those things are a bear to work with! Also, the way the switch works, loving that. Been doing that same design for a while now, I'm surprised that I don't see more people doing it, kudos to you!
Once again, spectacular job, may it serve your needs for many years to come, or your customer's!

Man this looks great, although I'm pretty sure you only need 11.1 volts to run it, i.e., only 3 cells. I'm 99.9% sure that's what SS's newest zn45 one runs off of, still going to ask him to confirm though.

Amazing frankencase job!!! It looks vacuum formed! Where did the ABXY buttons come from?
Re: Hailrazer's Gamecube Portable
I don't mean to be a drag, but it doesn't really have that "Hailraizer" staple of complete awesomeness. It's nice, but it didn't blow my mind and make me want to make out with it.

Yes but at 11.1v at 5000maH it will only run for 2 hours.thewise1 wrote:Man this looks great, although I'm pretty sure you only need 11.1 volts to run it, i.e., only 3 cells. I'm 99.9% sure that's what SS's newest zn45 one runs off of, still going to ask him to confirm though.
At 14.8v I can run it for almost 3 hours with 5000mAh.
