Alas, I don't think Ben would do that for me. Apparently he generally doesn't often reply to eMails. I'll try though, I guess. I'll have to figure out where to find his eMail.

I know. I've tried talking to him before. Not about this though.
I figured in numbers he might respond. Besides, if he actually has it with him than he can just round 'em up and shoot 'em out without any work.
His email is benjamin (dot) heckendorn (at) gmail (dot) com
(I split it up because of spambots, and I don't think ben would be happy with me if he all of a sudden started getting junk mail.)

I'm working up a fairly simple design for my case. when it's finished, I'll post some pictures of it and what the cost was so you can have an idea.

Well, he was wondering about the negative cut (the one with curves) and how much it costs compared to a flat one. Thanks for your support, though. :)

Well, emailed him earlier, hope he responds. Maybe HMF will give you his files, so we can se what that cost to machine, as that could be a feasible type of case to try as well.

So, made an inkscape file for the front bezel. It's saved as a .dxf, I think that's right.

So, how much would this cost? Black lines being cuts, white area being plastic left over and final part.

CRAP. Can't upload .dxf files here.

How should I get this to you?

Heh, I would be interested an requesting a Custom CNC case myself for a genesis portable idea I have, but the only problem is I don't have anything like AutoCAD..........heck, if I can remember even how I did it in high school anyway.

I could draw up some plans if your able to give me a price quote on it.
Going with a plastic shell, but somewhat of a custom shape for a 7" screen with a rear load cartridge slot.
Actually not so custom, but its going to be like a shape of a PSP!

You can get a free program online called inkscape that will save as a .dxf which is the file type he needs.

EDIT: Ben won't be giving me the files.

Me either. I guess I just got to wing it. He told me what bit to use, but that doesn't help very much on the vector side. :?

That was not really worth the bump.

But now that you did bump it; Did he actually make a case for anyone? I was working on a case with him, but he disappeared...

EDIT: Is that guy a bot?
