thanks ^^

I like backups too, I hate pay for software, I only buy hardware :P

are you satisfied with the qoob pro modchip?
sure, that was lot of work, sometimes I though about put the project in a table, get bigger hammer I can get and....... CRASH!!!! Or launch it through a window, sometimes It was very frustrating, but Finally it seems working, and I like the results

at my opinion qoob pro is the best gamecube chip, it allow use action replay stuff without have ar hardware, lan backups and lot of stuff you can lunch from sd, dvd or directly flashing it into usb.

but i think the best will be qoob pro (patch mobo) + xenogc (patch dvd drive)

for the moment I only have qoob, but runs fine ;)

well I preffer to spent the money and buy the best mod chip rather than have an unmodded console, its perfect for save some money and have lot of games, it also give to the system new features , like homebrew, backups load/rip. the only system I haven´t pirated was the n64,wich was very dificult to crack(dr 64 and other stuff like that is really expensive and not really usefull, you still need bypass the CIC protection :S)

small/medium upgreade

* the system can now charge & play at same time (added some internal stuff like regulators....etc)

* added a dvd switch for 2 disc games and other stuff related to homebrew and misc.

* added a external qoob USB programer with a led indicator

* added led visual rumble and a rumble selector mode switch

* added an alternate z buttom (both working)

I don't mean to revive an old post but I just have a small question? how did you desolder the digital video output so neatly?
i hate how electronic part suppliers give you an option on their website to filter your searches so that you can find a certain part and no results come up!

I'm attempting the same thing, minus the lan adapter and the power regulator (haha my newer revision board has one built in!) but soldering is a real b i t c h cuz my parents will only let me use lead free solder!

hey

I tried the method I explained at this guide for remove the digital port.
http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?t=26398

but at this one I also had co cut manually some strong metal parts with pliers.

you need to do this very carefull, cause there is a risk of damage the traces of the board or any other small component.

I basically decided to paint the system due lots of people asked it would be a nice idea.

and I finally decided start it due I got invited to a radio interview on spain, so I gave the system a nice looking before taking the pics for the radio web site.

I will also make another youtube video cause Im not satistected with the old one results, especially the weird sound arround, the power wire plugged into system and other crappy stuff in there.

ps: I gave credits to benheck and all members of this comunity at the radio interview, you guys rocks ;)

omg  , it think it is a bit late for that hehe :D , everything is hard hotglued inside now making hard and almost imposible remove stuff, btw, that wiring has been made a few time ago, i made two versions, the second had thiner wires, if you need the soldering points, you can use the diagram I posted at this topic, else you can use any other DD diagram ppl made at this forums :)
