Well, I'll tell you one thing. It's sturdier and more reliable than bondo. Bondo cracks too easily. Epoxy dries hard like a rock.

Marine Tex is a fairly good epoxy. Or if you can give it some time to dry, the Interlux Epiglas is very good. The marine tex is extremely strong and is very paintable.

Mighty putty is pretty good stuff but what I found worked better was Plumbing Epoxy from Home Depot, It dries faster, it's cheaper! That's my 2 cents.
