Take the point HBN, "Handy" is out.
See what I mean about thinking a name!
Porteria sounds like somewhere in Tuscany; Playteria - I thought of trying to incorporate "Bacteria" somewhere but it doesn't work.
MobileStation sounds quite good. Works with MobileN64 and MobileSNES too.
Current favourite unless anyone can beat it, or think of a reason MobileStation is not a good name.
This is good, I like input; it is what a forum is all about after all.
As to the system, here is a pic with the contrast and volume buttons cut out. As already ascertained, having a logo between the buttons at the top and a name at the bottom makes the system casing look quite symmetrical.
Just put a blank (reject, not flat) case underneath, to get a feel for the final thickness and how it feels, as I needed to identify the position my index fingers touch, for the shoulder buttons. This looks crude, especially as the edges on the reject case underneath is untrimmed; but gives an idea of thickness and shape.
I must say, holding the cases together, my fingers land on default by the d-pad and 4 buttons, easy and comfortable also for the joysticks and the shoulder buttons can be mounted in a sensible place. System is easy to grip and comfortable to hold. I am impressed!
Once the top two shoulder buttons are in place, it will be time to give the casing a light sanding, give it a wash, then start the spray painting process. I can then get the system guts in place, then I know the exact size for the back casing, so I can make a mold for it, prepare the case, and then spray paint that. Lots of work to go yet. I won't have much time for the rest of the weekend, but will have some time on Monday morning for project work.
