How do you make a menu?
I want to make a menu that autostarts on a CD I am going to produce, and hand out to my friends. It will be titled "Uber Boulder Eater Anthology" and will include Uber Boulder eater, Uber Boulder Eater 2, Uber Boulder Eater SE, and the soon-to-be finished Uber Boulder Eater 3. One question. How do I do this? I want to make a visual, graphical menu, but I have no idea on how to do that. Can any of you help me? It would be greatly appreciated, and I will even send you all of the Uber Boulder Eater games I have made.

Make a program that has a button to launch each of those programs, then set it up in the autorun.inf file.

Well, rather than buttons, why not use screen pics of the title screen? With a caption or something under it saying "Play x" where x is your game title.benol wrote: How do I make a program with buttons? I have no programming skizilz whatsoever.
You need to code it in some language, since you're starting, try Visual Basics. I can link you to a link that has a few links that would lead you to a link leading you to a download link of a Portable version of said program, would that be allowed?

Three thoughts, I have used them all in the past:
1) download a program that can do this for you, look in nonags.com, they might have a free one
2) look on a computer cover disk you have lying about, some of them use generic menus and text files for the menu text and launch program data
3) use a program like Microsoft Powerpoint, or similar, to show pics and links, save the file as "Package for CD". Include the viewer files on the CD and make an autorun file (look on a computer cover disk for one) on the CD root directory so it runs the application when the disk is inserted.

I have seen some really retarded ones that simply launched an explorer window with an html page that had image links to the programs on the disk. I think it was my old wireless card actually.

It is called a NESp. Just say pNES, you'll know why it is NESp. --vskid
