thank you !, i already firgured out the wires that go to the snes, but diagram before didn't have the dent, so i wired it backwards...anyway, i have it correct now, but i am on a break so the controller will be wired to the ic later...

any resistors needed for this? or can you solder the tact leads directly to the ic and run back to the ground?

it works without them, but for some reason donkey country wont work with the controller on my mkII

They ARE easily found in SNES Controllers!

And as for Donkey Kong Country, mine works fine without everything.

If you're talking about the IC's, I just chipped the IC section out and super-glued it onto a board.

Yep, that way you can include the discrete resistance section of the PCB that's in the controller.

this will really help me out when i go to wire the controller, just a few questions, what are the red, white, yellow, orange, and brown mean? and also how would i connect the newly rewired controller to the board and does it matter what size wires i use? also i am assuming that the diagram is of the pinout thing that is in the controller to start with corrent?

just the colors of the wires on the snes controller here http://www.gamesx.com/controldata/snesdat.htm

just use either ide cable or 22gauge wire

another question, do i attach the the white, yellow, orange, red, and brown wires directly to the place where the controller port like this?
