sales dont start untill late spring here near duluth
but last year, i got a $5 tv, a yobo fc w/one game for $10, but the year before i got a gba for $3

Went to another thrift store today and bought a Super Joy III with second controller and light gun for $12 (although I can't seem to get it to work - may need to see if they'll let me return it).

I also picked up a GBA-SP in poor cosmetic shape for $5. It's the newer light model.

Ok, so I cheated. I got this from a dollar store called Freds. But it's still cool



I was going to pay for it. But my dad did instead. So I'm not sure what it cost. Maybe somewhere around $1 to $1.50.

If my calculations are correct, when that baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're going to see some serious crap.

Fred's is a wonderful store, by the way, to anyone who has never been to one.

Sorry to say but that wouldn't reach 88mph, a stock Delorean only reached 85mph. That's what happens when you use a 2 litre Volvo engine and a steel body.

THAT is why you put it in front of a train and stock it with special logs that make the fire burn hotter

actually the PRV (peugot renault volvo) v6 in the delorean was ~3 liter, and yea they couldnt have picked a more uninspired lump of cast iron for a "sports car"

I want to see someone swap an LS9 and 6 speed manual into a DeLorean.

It would be fun to have either one of those, or a loaded 70s New Yorker. (Mmm... Bluetooth car phone...)

On a related side note, Jackal proved to me that my FC Super Loader works. It must of been my copy of SMB3 that didn't work.

I went to a play and trade today and got Super Black Bass and Kyle Petty No fear racing both for SNES, 2 NES controllers, Sonic 2 not for resale edition, Sonic Classics 3 games in one, Big Birds Hide and Speak, Sesame Street ABC Letter Go Round."For the Kids." All for $8.00.

What's even better is that while I was talking to the guy my buddy noticed some cool t-shirts they were selling and commented that he liked one so the guy gave us both one. They were normally $14.95. One was the Halo 3 logo replaced with pnt logo, and the other was Gears of War replaced with PnT logo. HE also gave me a free insiders card for discounts and a bag of PnT pens and Magnets.

But wait I am not done. As we were leaving a guy and his two girls were coming in with a lot of old retro stuff to trade including a boxed NES. I stuck around to see what it all was, we kinda chatted it up a little and when they were done the guy gave me all the stuff that PnT would not take. Things included GBASP Charging dock, GBASP Magnifing glass, NES Game Atlas Nintendo Players Guide, Case that holds 15 NES Carts it has a gold plated Nintendo logo on it.
