So, I've come across a very nice PC Engine GT... that has a cracked LCD. The backlight works, the motherboard fires up and seems to play a game just fine, but the LCD glass itself is shattered.

I've been a fan of Ben's work for a long time, have read through most of his book for giggles. I have decent electronics repair/soldering skills. I figure if anyone can help me find a cool use for this GT, it's you guys.

Ideas? There has to be a good use for a prebuilt handheld PC Engine. It's a shame, too, as the GT/TurboExpress has a great active matrix screen.

You could always...Donate it to an interested party...like me.

Reading through the Wikipedia article on what the hell this thing is, and upon reading that it had MANY technical problems, you could probably score one on ebay for really cheap with a working LCD. However, keep in mind that the LCD sometimes came with dead pixels from the factory.

Or you can gut it for parts.
