7805 cant handle the amps. Use two in parallel or go with a different solutionAguiluz wrote:OK, New Formula:

EDIT: So I built the circuit and the PS2 booted up to main menu. YAY! When I insert a disc, it turns off to standby! Awww...
And I have to use a bigger heatsink. The HS I'm using was HOT!
The formula WORKS!
PS2 Slim + 12V + (7805 x 2) + 220 Ohm Resistor + 470 Ohm Resistor + Heatsink = Yay!!!
