sorry to hear that

what is the last steep you did?

are you sure the regulator board is working correctly?

does the gamecube led power on?

does the disk drive start moving?

did you tried to bridge the regulator board fuse?

try search for shortcuts, you also can undo the last steep you did.

btw, you may need to replace some gamecube parts.

seems you wired something wrong, check every soldered wire for errors, or maybe there is a shortcut,

about the fuse, here is it:

image

before I soldered over, there was a white fuse with "1 A" text over it, I saw other versions of regulator boards, if your regulator board is different from this, check under the board for a small brown thing with "1.5 A" over it, at least was there with one of my regulators.

Thank`s Kasar for showing me bridged fuse, but it didn`t work either.

The strange thing is that the game cube poweradapter won`t power on after i tested it on the project.
After i unnplug it, it works a again.

Does that mean that i have short-circuit something? :?:

yes, it is probably a shortcut.

if you want to solder wires directly to the regulator boad, do it under the power connector, and try allways make clean connections.

check also all the connections you did are correct and clean, I had same problem with my ac-dc power suply, it is a shortcut sympthon, find the shourcut, undo it, and try again

well, the disk drive is also part of the system, it also can produce shortcuts if wrong soldered.

try clean the DD connections and try again, if you are having to much problems with the mobo, and not power on anymore, try getting another cube for replacement.

my advice is: go slowly but secure, check everything at least twice times before perform the functionality test after made progress, perform lot of functionality tests per each new steep you do, it can help to fix problems and detect where is the problem.

and, dont get frustrated, gamecube is a bit hard hardware to start, but it can be dont with patience and with some tricks.

if you got to much estresed, rest for a day or two, and continue then, get extra gamecube parts for replacements allways is good.

good luck mate, I wish you acomplish your project, just let me know if I can help with something ;)
