Kinda hard because of that crappy film for the controller sony used. I'd recommend an offbrand one.

make sure you solder to the metal, otherwise it will do you no good. Also, you can find out where the green thingies go (normally called "traces") and solder it there, since it will be easier.

Also, you need to take sandpaper and rub it against the bright green things until they turn into a copper-like color. The copper is what you connect to, the light green is a sheild around it.
