So in case anyone is even remotely familiar with it, about a year and a half ago, i started work on a PS2 portable, modeled after the Hailrazer Dreamcast design. i worked on this project off and on for quite some time, and now im back at it again, and as a major revision, i have decided on a newer, better battery, and im a little embarrassed to say, im a little stuck on it.
i have the new battery cells arranged like so:
the part im stuck on is exactly how to wire pcb:
i get the part about the battery cells, but what i cant figure out is how to hook up the charge / load pads so that i can power the PS2 and screen, and then charge the batteries when they're empty.
any advice will be much appreciated

The charge/load connects to the portable to power it. And it also connects to the charging port so the batteries can charge.

well i now have the batteries all wired up to their PCB, so now i just have to wait for my voltage regulator to arrive so i can get to work on powering the internal game hardware!!
i must say though this is one of my more elegant wiring jobs ive ever done, because ive made some real spaghetti platters in the past, but this one is much more concise and to the (contact) point, lol

Re: ~{The Kingdom PS2}~ revival thread and worklog
hey everyone, just thought id post a small update on my progress with the ps2 project. i came up with a way to get rid of that annoying reset switch/power LED/lid sensor/IR receiver, and distil it down to its only really useful function, the reset switch:
as you can see i traced the contact points, and then wired them to a small header, and have a much more practical switch for resetting, which i will now be able to place anywhere in the case, im thinking somewhere on the back, any other ideas??

Re: ~{The Kingdom PS2}~ revival thread and worklog
minor update here, i just attached the A/V wires to the PS2 mobo. i know this really isnt a big deal, but i think its significant, because for the first time i feel that i did a really good job with this part, because i have come up with some really wacky ways to do this in the past, but this one is just more sensible
again this probably isnt that big of a deal to most, but i do have a question; im looking for a small 7 pin header to use to attach the A/V cable to the screen, and possibly a 9 pin header for the controller connection.
any suggestions??

just tried my hand at the memory card LED mod, lol, its a completely useless light on the memory card that flashes when data is being read/written, but its one of those things where, in the grand scheme of the project, if its worth doing, its worth over doing
