that should work but it would help to have the things you're powering in the diagram too to make it easier to understand

I haven't seen this thread mentioned recently, so here it is:

N64 Smaller Controller

It gave me some ideas on what to do after I damaged my N64 controller while cutting it down. I started tracing the place I was going to cut with an exacto knife, then got bored and just cut it with a wire cutter.

Man it sounded awesome when it snapped, and had this great snappy feel. I then realized I broke it in the spot where 4 tiny capacitors went to the analog stick. Oh well.

Now that I think about it I never did get around to drawing an actuall schem of the red/white wire input to the chip :P Ah well, still easier to just keep all that smt stuff intact and just cut down the board.

i just stumbled upon something that could be usfeul. it's a DC-DC convertor that can have an input from 4.2-28v and an ouptut of 2.5v-24v. it can even step up the voltage so hip gears should stay bright and stuff. it's kind of expensive ($50) but if you can afford it, it's probably worth it. here's the link:
http://www.dimensionengineering.com/AnyVolt.htm . i also did some more searching on that site and looks like they have some other good voltage convertors too.
BTW Gannon, i'm still getting mine from you so don't think i'm getting this one instead

Image I know this might seem like an advertisement, but it really isn't. Me and other benheckers are developing a forum that take the N64 and breaks it down into sections; in Layman's terms, a very specific forum for newcomers looking to build N64ps. We only have about 6 members now, so I am asking others who have developed N64ps, or have a range of know-how about N64s, to join up... Also, if you do choose to join, please use your benheck name... For ID purposes.

Thanks in advance,
Fanboy
