As long as you use a sturdy adhesive you can do that. You can use acrylic and acrylic glue and then paint that.

Some have used it before and it's nice for making portables. But a mini psone doesn't need a fan or ventilation, so don't worry about that.

They don't have region locks per se, but PAL and NTSC video signals are different. So to answer your question, no, you can't use a NTSC PSOne screen on a PAL PSOne.

If you have steady hands, then a bandsaw or dremel will work, or you can use a table saw to get a perfectly straight cut.

use 2mm styrene x-acto knife and bend/snap method

psone screens are region locked,

alternate screens can be found in
2.5/3.5" inches on ebay
5" from alibaba,range from 30-60usd
5-7" portable dvd players with av input

zenith/madcatz 5" lcd's are the same as psone screens

postage from ebay uk is terrible
it cost me $60 to ship two n64's
my local revolution cd currently has a sony psone (Controller/cables and power included) and a third party psone screen for $100
generally they sell psones for 20-30
