That would need to be a long wire....from Canada to Georgia . LOL

And I don't think you could link N64's anyway.

That is the closest you can get to linking N64s. Only 1 N64 needs to be on, the other portables are just controllers with screens.

I know you can't use the screen from the Kidz delight thing, but is the screen interchangable? For instance, if my PS1 screen broke and the circuit board for good could I take the screen from the delight thing and hook it up to the PS1 circuit board?

I got the top started . Cut up the screen casing the way I wanted it. Then cut up the top half of the Datamax to fit it in.

Then I used Abs Cement to bond it together. This will need to dry for 2-3 days before I can move on to the next phase. Notice the black tape. I put black duck tape over large gaps and then fill it in with abs cement from the other side. The tape helps hold it until it is good and dry. Then just peel off the tape.

I flush mounted the screen instead of having it raised like in my Ncube. I was hoping for less epoxy and sanding on this one, plus I don't think I need as much room inside as I did with the Gamecube. Hope I don't regret it later.

my parents won't let me get or make abs cement:( is it okay for my case if I bondo'd the psone disk drive area down but if bending it, you can see a crack open up where the gap used to be?)
looking good 8)

Bondo is next to useless for fusing parts together. It doesn't hold good and it cracks when flexed.

Epoxy is really only slightly better.

Abs Cement is the only way to actually fuse plastic together. Show them you're mature enough to handle it or let them know you will only use it under their supervision and in a well ventilated area.

Well, you could solvent weld plastic parts together (or is that what ABS cement is?) or you could straight up melt them together.

Dunno how strong each for those would be compared to ABS cement though.

Hail, how do you apply the abs cement? TMH seems to stick his hands in it, I don't think that's something I'd want to do, what do you do?

Very good question. Believe it or not I apply it with a q-tip. That allows me to sort of brush it on or get a little more on it and let it drip/flow into the cracks. Plus I can toss them when I'm done. No cleanup. :P

How long does ABS cement take to set or whatever? I tried making one of those model cars, and you have to stick the parts together with what I'm pretty sure was ABS cement, and it took forever. I kinda gave up

It will start to bond within an hour. But it stays quite flexible for around 24 hours. For the bonding I do which is a bit thick, it usually takes around 72 hours or more to get rock solid.

Thin coats should get rock solid in around 24-48 hours.

Oh wow. No wonder I got impatient- I grossly underestimated the amount of time it takes to cure. Thanks
