broken rcp pin

Post by frenchfries » Mon Apr 09, 2012 12:50 pm

Hello people, while I was doing the rcp wiring one of the pins broke off (pin 51 of the rcp) . According to this site http://www.crazynation.org/N64/n64_cart_info.htm the pin is AD2, is there any other place I can get AD2 from?. (I know this is kind of a stupid question because it goes through the chip, but i'm desperate  )

Darn, but whatever. I was just wondering, is the flux for copper pipes the same stuff as for electrical wires?

Eh, you can fix it. You will need to scrape off the silicon just enough so you can solder to it.
Not easy, and if you cant solder at a 0.5 mm pitch on quad flat packages, then there is no point trying.
