I think I'm going to relocate the cart slot and expansion pak... although I might hold off on that until my 2nd portable just to make sure I can do the other stuff first. Like you said, it doesn't seem too hard, I just like following step-by-step instructions... maybe I'll make some of my own in time :)

What you should do is Sell duplicates of the Case you made as well as wiring diagrams so others can build this! 8)

Very well done SifuF

Super sexy i must say.

This would be a little simplier

Ill draw the truth tables to make sure this would give the same result but I am 100% sure it does.

If anyone has any questions about NAND equivalents id be happy to answer.

Great editing skills, but the problem with that circuit is that the NAND will output high unless BOTH inputs are high.

We can see from the truth tables that in this case, the D-Pad will control the volume constantly, and without the start button held down.

You are very correct

I fixed it. To get my credibility back

may interest you that if you replaced the nand gates in my orginal wrong answer with NOR gates that would work.

Interesting... that would reduce it to a single logic chip! (Brilliant deduction, of course)

It's been over-said, but godly portable dude. I can truthfully say this is, without doubt, the single best N64p in the world.

(Can we/I get some shots of the other side of the mobo or is it stuck in place? I want to see your cartridge relocation job so badly it's killing me!)

You are a god among men, man. (But you're not a man, you're a god).

Congratulations on almost breaking half a million views. I bet you're so proud of yourself and feel so special. Well you god damn better feel that way, you're my new hero! Seriously, I can not express how awesome your job is, and how much you have inspired me and others to look at portablizing in a whole new light. (AKA - Experimenting with chopping down boards while keeping them functional via connecting wires).
Hey, sup?
