DreamStorm 'cause it sounds cool, but Dream Trooper, 'cause I'm a Star Wars Nerd id it's more correct. :D

What about shortening it to DCtrooper?

I think DreamTrooper is the most fitting suggestion so far, but it just sounds a little funny.

wow! i don't know how, but i missed that you had posted a pic of the front! awesome!

i really like the controller layout! but... why are there 6 buttons...? i thought the dreamcast had only 4 buttons. or are those the shoulder buttons...?

can't wait to see this one finished! your work has really interested me in trying the filler stuff you use. Image
they call me the Queen of Bondo, though maybe i should be called the Queen of Epoxy Putty

The Quantam controller has 6 buttons which are programmable. So I decided to just include all six and then I can program them as needed :)

The filler is awesome because there is no way to crack it. It is meant to be used on car bumpers where it has to flex and move. Unlike Bondo which cracks when flexed. It really is the perfect filler.

I got my batteries in today and I'm not to thrilled. This pack is HUGE.

Image

I can split the batteries and wire them up in the case but they also are extremely heavy. About 2 pounds.

I'm seriously thinking about just going with 3 - 3.7v 5000maH Li-Poly's. They would weigh only about 6oz's for all three. I really don't want this thing to weigh anymore than it has to. The problem is I would have to spend about $110 with shipping for 3- 3.7v Li-Polys and a charger and Pcb and shipping.

Opinions ?

My opinion is to make me a N64p o pay for the new ones...
Well it all depends on what you want to hold a heavy portable, or a lightweight easy to hold portable
If you play for only 1-2 hours at a time it doesnt really matter right?
