Actually, his portable is pretty much as small as it gets. I have been working on a secret portable (hehe) and it is chopped to the MAX without (like sifuf said before) extreme board modification. It is only possible to get it a couple mms smaller than his. The height is restricted by the screen (chopped to the max), otherwise it could be about 5-7 mm shorter. The one I have is quite smaller, but I will probably change some things around and it will end up being about the same height, not quite as wide, and just a little thicker. I can guess within a couple mm how big his is, I was just curious as to exactly how many mms difference there is between mine and this one.

Well, I know 6 days is a bit of a bump, but I have a question and I don't deem it necessary to create a new thread.

In this picture it shows the two rather large capacitors missing (on the left side) where the blank solder pads are.

My question is, does an N64 work without those?

At the top left corner or towards the bottom? The solder pads in the corner are for the reset button and I think the ones towards the bottom are just jumpers. The capacitors and other "goods" are different on different N64 boards. I have 5 and none of them are the same, so there may be capacitors in those places on your board, but I don't think he removed any capacitors. Correct me if I'm wrong.
