 Post subject: Controller does not work

I am just one step away from finishing my portable.
I wired it up using the diagram that is often posted around here. My multimeter registers that everything is correct. However, I can only turn the analog option on and off. None of the other buttons work.
The controller Ben uses is different then mine, so no luck in his book.

Well, my last post was deleted.

If you didn't read it, I've started up my project again and still have this problem.

Is it possible there is a blown fuse? If so, which fuse would it be?

I don't see any, everything looks fine. I've tried re-wiring multiple times.
