Victory is today's name. Finally after, 5, 6 months, this projected has wound down. Granted there are a few minor things needed (screw the case together, I lost all the external screws, and to buy new screws to mount the z-button). That's all though. It's been a long journey, but the end result, playing Starfox64 for an hour in the car, is worth it. Gameboys/PSPs just can't live up to that.
I would rather not say this, but this unit will be available for sale if the price is right. I've put so much money into this project, and right now I kind of need it back. If you are interested, email me at joevennixATgmailDOTcom. I'll get right back to you.
And now, what you're here for: pictures.
Notice the scratch in the paint by the screen. I hope to buy some vinyl sticker and create a 'frame' around the screen, which would cover the scratch.
The unit is about 3 inches thick, including the battery compartment. I need to measure it to be exact.
You can see my 'quality' paint job. Give me a break, it was my first time.
Yeah, about 3 inches. Notice the gap in the case. I am holding it together, because I lost the screws. I'm going to pick some up from Home Depot tomorrow.
And a mug shot.
Well there you have it. The fruits of 6 months of labor. Not much to look at, but it runs fine, and gets the job done. I'm just glad I'm finished building it.
Comments please!!!
