I bought this NOAC some time ago. It had no case or anyway of identifying it when I bought it.
Can anyone please help me identify it, then hopefully I can find a pin out for it.

I downloaded the definative NOAC guide but I can seem to find the pinout for the super joy I have.
Theres some that are similar but not exact.
What pinout should I use for this super joy?

What pinout are you needing? the superjoy has a famicom cart slot on it, so the pins in the cart slot should all be the same.

BTW, nice touch with the beer bottle caps

Now that I think about it, I dont really need a pinout for this lol.
Is it safe to assume the controller connector is pinned for a famicon controller? It's the same shape...

Ah, the controller....that's a different story.

It's definetly worth a shot to hook up the famicom controller and see what happens. Otherwise, your best bet is to identify the main wires; ground and +5v....then just mix and match the in between wires and see if something works then.

As for the site, yeah it's kinda dead right now...so very depressing how its slowed so much There's still stuff going on, but it feels a little sporadic at times. My last projekt took me like 3 months cause I'd work on it for a few days, then set it aside for a month, then go back, then another month and so on lol.

I'm looking at the 3.5" lcd's on ebay.
Do you generally have to backlight mod those like you would do with a psone screen?
Whats the minimum voltage those generally run on?

The ebay screens require no backlight mod, so they're easy peezy lemon squeezy that way

As for the minimum voltage needed to run them, most of the time they'll run happily on as little as 5 volts. Some prefer more power for some reason, but those are rare.
