Probably not until late May, I'm afraid - finals are coming next week and we're a couple of people short at work, so I have pretty much zero time for modding or anything considered "fun". Plus, I'll be finishing a project I'm working on for someone first before any personal projects.

I just noticed this. It looks great so far. When/if you want to sell I let me know.

I worked on the case some today after a long hiatus. I think I'm going to scrap the idea of a clear front and back with the underside painted white. It would be a neat effect, but the case is just not coming out the way I want it to. I could finish it, but I wouldn't like it. And if I don't like it, then what's the point?

One thing I've always wanted to do is use the AG series case from Polycase for an Atari portable, so I think that's what I'm going to do.

I haven't touched it for a while - I've been hard at work on my project for the competition.

Seriously, do you lurkers ever bother to read? You're the fifth or sixth one to pull this stunt.

Only a month bump. Not too bad.

Huh? What? Oh, sorry for the bump. I was just thinking out loud... :P

At the rate this portable has gone, it should be done some time in 2012. I came across this enclosure box I had gotten as a free sample and realized the "battery compartment" was almost a perfect fit for the 2.5" Pustom screen from DX I had laying around. The ridges on the front definitely give it that clunky retro feel you get from the original Atari 2600 case. More updates on this may or may not come sometime soon. I think my Atari is kind of fried, actually. I might just get a Flashback and use that - it would be easier than reviving a billion year old console that I've had out of its case and tossed around with other electronics during my move from one apartment to the next.

This is really awesome! What type of screen is that Zenith screen? It looks a lot like the PSone screen, is it just as easy to hack?
