I've said it before and I'll say it again: Add "Gizmondo" to the swear filter! It could filter out to say "crap" or something.
The "gizzie" as you call it, was barely released in the USA, and the whole Gizmondo scene has gone bankrupt*!
*well, Tiger Electronics is still here, but Gizmondo is dead

They aren't bankrupt anymore (debt free, baby!) And it was made by Tiger Telematics not Electronics. Also, the Gizmondo scene is alive and kicking. 2 games just received publishing rights and homebrew is alive!
So what if it weren't a mainstream success, the homebrew on this thing will be bigger than GP32's.

gizmondo is crap, the gp2x is far better and has a WAY better and bigger fanbase with tons of great stuff. the "gizzie" was a commercial failure and ugly as sin gp2x for the win

Excuse me for being mis-informed, but... The gizmondo was ACTUALLY released here!?!?
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

Hey....the gizmondo seemed like a good idea, but in a month, noobs made crap hentai homebrew...bah! Anyway, PSP can handle it, if somehow someone wants to delete homebrew and bring LINUX into their PSP, and can I be in the game oh so very please!

Um noones made "hentai crap" on the Gizmondo. It's in early stages of homebrew, but Delta Force and Quake 3 are being ported (with delta force being almost done)

That stuff was on the DS. Darkfader was being evil, and a released a "romz loader" that bricked your DS, and a "Hentai Slideshow" that also bricked your DS. Darkfader then appologized to all affected accidently (he wanted to kill the warez romz for the DS, but it didn't work out). So he then released PPFlash which could reflash your firmware.

...right, but last time I heard...it was just un-user friendly. Delta Force 1 was good but the controls seem stiff...anyway not to flame.
What do they use for coding a game on the PSP, maybe a converter can be done?

marshallh, mentioned that he would have to. The current coding requires DirectX. PSP don't have that plugin or whatever it's called to fuction. I really think that a port to the GP2x is more realistic.

Yeah, but would the GP2X be able to handle the game with the systems' pretty crummy tech specs?

The only way that you could port GTP to the PSP is to make an Iris mod.
Search for Iris on pspupdates.qj.net or
www.psp-hacks.com
Other than that, no unless marshallh has a PSP, experience in 3D homebrew coding, and 189 straight hours of free time, no.
But I'm not sure about the GP2X.
Has anyone else noticed that this project has gone very slowly? Not even a beta yet...

Heh, at this point, there's more chance of GTP being ported to the N64. No seriously, I have a N64 devkit. Oops, shouldn't have said that.
