I have an extra laptop sitting around that I could bring along for someone to use -- and it already has Starcraft on it :) It's a little old, but it runs SC quite happily.

is it good enough to upload videos to youtube with?

Either way, I'd like to use it while up there if your offering? I've never played Starcraft, so it might be fun to give it a try!

Youtube videos? I would like to think so, but the hard drive is pretty full (less than 100 MB left for use I think, lol). All the data would have to be from a flash drive or something.

I'll bring it along for ya ;)

Just don't be looking up any pRon with it  (deliberately misspelled)

Alrighty then, I'll make sure to bring a transfer cable for my Camcorder. And don't worry, I don't do pRon.

And also, I'm going to bring my iHome up there with me. (This one to be exact: http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php ... &start=327" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

It maybe big and not perfect looking. But it works fine and will get the job done. However, newer iPods (like my iPod Touch) and iPhones will give the "charging is no supported by this device" message while plugged into it. But it will still play music.

So yea, bring your iPods if you have one. Because I'm sure that you guys won't like some of my music. :P

If everyone is bringing laptops (or desktops with wifi) you can just do LAN over wifi for starcraft. Although I'm not staying in the suite, I would definitely stay for a few games of Starcraft. (or Warcraft 3)

Ha I have you all beat! I have a spare Linksys rounter always in my backpack, even surprised some of my computer teachers with that bit. However I only carry one cable with me, so yeah BYOC (Bring Your Own Cable).

As for Starcraft... if I can download it for free and run it under wine, no problem, sure I'm game. Otherwise, no play. I'm running Ubuntu.

That's the plan so far, though he's having surgery at the end of Feb/beginning of March.

I'm actually flying in to see him in January and work on a bunch of things we've had in the que.
Hey Martyg, can you give us a update on if Ralph is going to be there or not?

Yo there! Here is the tentative schedule for Benheck Experience:

http://www.midwestgamingclassic.com/at- ... s/benheck/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you'd like to add any "events" to this (specific demonstrations, etc) let me know and I'll have Dan add it in.

There is karaoke at the hotel on Friday, also we can have a Benheck party in our display room starting 8:15 on Saturday. Thoughts?

If you need to get a hold of me before or around the show, my # is 608 604 2253.

Oh boy, I see my printer is on the list of activities. <looking at the pile of parts on the counter> I guess I better get it reassembled. Heh.

Should be a good time. I can't help but think the move closer to Milwaukee will make a big difference on attendance.
