The case is mostly done will a few things to cut. (like c buttons)

I have pretty much no parts though, don't worry about that, I'll get those soon. It is going to be painted by the way, I just hand made it out of polycarbonate sheets, that's why it's clear.

The image is pretty big so I'll just link it. http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i208/MNDOGYDUDE105/100_0677.jpg

**UPDATE** 07/29/09

**UPDATE** 11/21/09

YES! I finally got it working and it's looking great, I wired the jumper pak one last time and it didn't work, but I did some touching up and the expansion pak chips and it works perfectly now. So now all that's left is to order the screen, led mod it, then the final construction with commence. Here are some pictures of the relocation.

ALMOST THERE! :D

**UPDATE** 12/03/09

I got my screen a couple days ago and have been doing some modding to the minor components. Mostly the controller today. I've got plenty of pics since you guys love them so much.
I've got paper in the joystick to space it from the case until the glue is 100% cooled.
http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i208/MNDOGYDUDE105/DSC02442.jpg
Inside, there's tape covering the joystick to prevent light leaking.
[img]http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i208/MNDOGYDUDE105/DSC02451.jpg
Lots of strength in the joystick.

Controller
http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i208/MNDOGYDUDE105/DSC02455.jpg
With memory pak (the battery has to be pretty snug to make contact with the wires)

IDE wire is SO CLEAN! :D

Looks much better than my original one. Just garbage.

MORE SOON TO COME!! :D

I NEED SOME MONEY!
i wanna start on my old project again so bad  oh well, i get 20 bucks for every A in class, so there's that. i found this used computer parts store with a bin full of assorted heatsinks and a bunch of fans, so i have cooling, but i still need a battery charger and a screen

Thats a really cool case man. Good work. What color are you going to paint it?

I'm actually going to announce the name when I paint it. So that's a surprise for when it's done.

I've updated the thread with pics and a video of the case but have been too lazy to update both threads.

ARE YOU SERIOUS??!?!

I can never get it working right. I've got the n64 wired up and the led comes on but I can not get an response. The screen flickers and none of the wires are touching on the relocated jumper pak. None of the wires are more than a CM long, only 2 of them are, but definitely not 2 cm . I hate the design of the n64 motherboard and that it's so touchy. It will not cooperate.

Sorry for no real updates in a while. I just can't get the jumper pak relocation working, even though so many other members got it working fine (on there first try I'm assuming)

I shortened the ground wires but still nothing, I can't get the relocation working. Does anyone have a picture of their relocation?

No it's a different kind of relocation, it's when you take apart the jumper pak and relocate to the components.

I've gotten everything wired but I removed the 5th capacitor because some say they don't need it.

Don't got it anymore, plus on the later revisions it's not there and since jumper paks are supposed to be compatible with all n64s that means that you don't need the 5th cap.

did you replace the 2mb ram chips with 1mb ones? that would be awesome considering there's only a jumper pak in there.

Yes, they're expansion paks, so it does have an expansion pak in it.
