So Im afraid to use any other batteries then Ni-Mh batteries
I wanted to be able to charge the batteries without removing them
I could not find out how anywhere, not even from Ben, so I figured out how to do it my self and here it is
The thing that says charger, goes to the jack that the charger plugs into

I'd just like to add to everyone who want to know how to be able to charge and play, so far you can only do so with an ac adapter for that.

The above diagram is shown in use here: along side the implementation of the AC adapter jack(allowing, for charging, and playing)

Thanks, SonyPortableizer! That diagram is exactly how you do it. Just make sure positive goes to positive and negative goes to negative :P

So this lets you play and charge at the same time?

Why doesn't everyone do this instead?

Can you still charge while its off?

This should be the only documented power wiring then.

After all, there are no lost features, but there is an additional one.

As Daft Punk would say: "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger!"

Do I have to put the positives and negatives in a certain order on the tabs?

I'm no professional but I'm pretty sure that green thing is a charging circuit for LiIon/LiPo batteries because they will do their best to explode if overcharged, that circuit prevents that from happening. at least I hope otherwise this is really dangerous.

As I said it's a protection board.

A protection circuit module or board. PCM or PCB.

Can you explain what it means when it says 7.2v ac adapter on SS' diagram?
also can you explain what the switch positions do?

Can you explain what each switch positions would do? Also what does it mean when the diagram says 7.2v ac adapter?
