Game Gear Powerboard needs a new smd cap

Post by cyrex » Mon May 16, 2011 9:55 am

Hey folks ... i have a broken game gear where the smd capacitator C12 on the powerboard (backside) seems to be broken as well. I didn't try it out since i didn't replace the rest of the caps yet. But you can see that it is damaged. Does anybody know what kind of cap i need to buy to replace this little fella?

thx

There isn't a value on mine, but it looks like it's redundant. It's connected directly to the canister cap, C12.

I don't have the correct type of multimeter for testing caps, but I do have some extra Game Gear power boards. Drop me a PM, and we can work something out if you're interested.
