So my idea here is to use a ps3 controller and replace the right analog stick with a razor x board. this half is done but for the sake of consistency i wanted to use a psp nub on the left analog stick too but ive run into problems mainly because i dont know how to wire it any help?
Re: PSP GO Dual Nub Solution
Your making it harder then it actually is.
Get one of these: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Sony-PSP-1000-System ... 3094wt_932" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and wire the x button to the down pin, o to the right pin, triangle to the up pin and square to the left pin. This way you can use the analog for aiming in shooters instead of the face buttons.

I dont understand what you are trying to do, you want to use the ps3's right analog to map the buttons of psp go's x,[], 0, /\ right?
just do an analog to digital mod on the ps3's joystick

I thought he was wrong.
anyways I have the right analog stick set up and working, I'm having trouble with the left one. I removed the ps3 joystick and I'm trying to use a psp nub.
This is my problem

Re: PSP GO Dual Nub Solution
How is that wrong? You are trying to add a second analog to your psp right?
The way I explained it is how everyone does it. Just youtube psp dual analog. I don't get why your using a sixaxis controller for this.

you are an idiot, you have very misinformed/non existent knowledge in this area and your posts imply you are trying to say otherwiseweaver wrote:How is that wrong? You are trying to add a second analog to your psp right?

odd, it seems as if the grounding of ps3 controllers is different to that of ps2 ones, therefore it would be difficult to get a psp joystick to work. would you be happy to go back to using the two ps3 analog sticks, with the right analog still mapped as [],/\,0,X ? i could get you the walkthrough/tutorials for doing that if you likeGroundControl wrote: I've tried this before, it did not work

How hard would it be to get the psp nub to work?
Ive gotten the up/down movement to work but the left/right is always going.
my wiring (corresponding to the other guide)
I also kinda broke my ps3 analog sticks getting them out :/
When i started this project on another forum they said i couldn't wire [] /\ X O to the left analog stick for some reason but it sounded like bull anyways

Re: PSP GO Dual Nub Solution
potentiometer mod
first remove the pots on the side of the ps3's analog,
then cut the traces on the inside, this is a diagram.
will post more if more explanation required
