hey guys i have a compaq presario v2000 and the screen shuts off at first the back light went out and i was advised to buy a new inverter so i bought and installed one and if i touched the computer the backlight would still shut off so then me and my dad ripped it apart to look at the video card and everything checked out so we put it back together in hopes of it working but then the screen comes on and shuts off.

hey well you should try reseating the video connector as well as the backlight voltage connector that might fix it also check the common cables that could go loose like power or battery traces along the PMU board also try posting in better sentences your post was damn near unreadable I mean jesus christ what the hell was that text mess do a better job next time and people will respond in better ways
