My first desoldering pump sucked:

Now, a desoldering iron on the other hand, is much nicer:

With the later I was able to desolder the cpu in a few minutes (if not less

)

Anyways, I still haven't had enough time to properly setup the copynes in a custom case or have fun messing with it. I think one of the first things I'll do is try to monitor the cart output on my midines to see if I can grab the data and make NSFs out of it.

So, if I'm not mistaken, this is a device that will allow you to load or make NES roms?

Aaaaaaaaaaaah! got nes board trouble today. Nes is ruined. Short for I have to get a new one

. And gannon I was lucky to get the solder sucker. We certaintly don't have that desoldering iron model you got. (I hate having no radioshack

)
