Yes, presenting the "Jungle NES" due to its painted color scheme. I was unhappy with my first NES portable and decided to make another.
I noticed the select button is missing, I need to put that back! I designed my case in vector and had it cut out via laser engraving, it's perfectly rectangle. I was a little off in my dimensions causing everything almost not to fit. I wish the paint stayed nice looking though, it kind of crapped up while I was finishing it. On the bottom is player port #2 and the volume is controlled on a nob on the side (near the cartridge slot). I'm so glad it's finished. I'll answer any questions about it.

Well done. I like the cartridge slot like that.

I've always hoped someone would make an NES portable with the cartridge like that! Great job! Did you use the original NES or a clone?

Re: Junglenes
Thanks! If anyone is wondering here is the speaker design by itself:
It's kind of like a small dragon design. It originally started out as just a rectangle but then I gave it a slight curve for style and thought to myself "Why not go all out?". Now that I think about it, anything I draw could be printed out into plastic shapes... hmm that gives me ideas. It's made from 1/8th acrylic and I paid 55$ for the parts cut at http://a1engravingservice.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, although I didn't have to pay shipping because I picked it up locally, about an hour from me.

I used an original NES I found for 20$. Pretty good deal I got on that, although it was without any accessories at all. Though I believe it consumes around 800mAh (correct me if I'm wrong), so there's probably more practical choices for a portable out there.limpport wrote:I've always hoped someone would make an NES portable with the cartridge like that!
