Wow. That is quite a difference in quality. That's some excellent work. I must admit, I am impressed. Clear isn't my thing, but that's not even a factor. Great work!

That looks great! You best one yet, hands down.

And clear is no problem. You can spray paint the inside and it will give it a nice glossy look and the paint won't come off on your hands. (That's what you do for RC car bodies)
If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

I love it clear, but the buyer want it painted. I told him that wasn't in the design(I would have to go in and remove everything!), but I'm considering using contact paper, or maybe some sort of skin. Any suggestions?(other than duct tape XD)

shockslayer, you are one of the most talented modder here on benheck!
the n64 is one of the harder systems to portablize, yet you seem to be able to make one in about a week, and a great one you did!

how are you able to make portables so fast? :?

When you make more than a couple you can make them with your eyes closed; well, certainly quickly.

Nice job SS, your skills have improved enormously recently, well done.

Don't use a paper covering, will ruin it. If the buyer wants it painted, he will have to pay more, as you say, system needs opening, parts removed, screen window cut, painting, etc. Up to him.

I too aren't keen on clear cases, however it takes more skill to make one as you are constantly bothered about component placement and removal of excess glue etc if visible. Double well done! :D

Cart slot is nice this time. Nice and slim too. Isn't the case top heavy though, when holding the buttons at the bottom?
