Very nice. :)

But I really don't understand how you guys are measuring these things.

You're saying that with the cart slot it is 1.45 inches thick?

Typically we dont include the cart slot because they are all the same size.

Oh , ok.

Seems a bit strange because the actual size of the portable is bigger than advertised, but .......

Well anyway, nicely done and hope you make a bundle :)

I love it here, too. :P

One thing, though: I think it might make sense to make some "real" guidelines as to how to measure portables. I mean, what about people who have fully integrated cart slots? They are at a huge disadvantage already, even though they have a slicker solution.

Not something I plan on leading or whatever, but someone else should go do it.

personally it should the measured by the thickest x widest x tallest part of the portables. Cart must be inserted with batteries for measurement.

I think the measurements should be taken separately for the cart slot and casing, and then just add the volumes together, then you have a definite measurement of who's portable is bigger or smaller. Also, weight would be nice to have, no one wants to play the smallest n64p in the world if it weighs 15 pounds.

Would that be the "base" body of the portable, as it were? Or would it be to the top of the analog stick? The buttons? Etc.

For one thing having the "smallest" N64 portable is IMO a stupid goal to shoot for.

A much better goal would be having an awesome looking, awesome sounding, awesome screen, awesome controls, won't fall apart N64.

That being said , I would say measurements should be the case volume (not including buttons/sticks/switches that stuck out, they are minimal) + cart slot volume (because some are adding batteries/earphone/av jacks/etc in there).

Seriously when measuring the FC16 Go portable with an internal cart slot don't you count the whole thing. So people that put an internal cart slot are penalized? What about my Ncube. The external optical drive doesn't count in final size?

Questions inquiring minds want to know.
