I have just gotten word that a portable project I collaborated on has finally been finished. And to think I thought it dead!

Hopefully it can be sprung upon the unsuspecting world by Tuesday. Info on what we both did will be on our sites and cross-linked.

The deal is I figured out the design, size, case, controls and internal parts layout. The other party installed the guts and did the software mods required to make it work. I'm not sure if he used my original power supply or not. So it's 20% me, %80 him, and %100 cool.

Now feel free to speculate till your brains melt regarding what system it is. Expect the unexpected.

I predict a PC-portable! Either that, or something with a complicated power supply.

It recuired software mods. Only systems I know that would be using those are either xbox or dreamcast. I think xbox.

Could be but he said it used to be dead. I don't recall ever hearing him say he has worked on a c64. (well before the npod)

I know the Saturn and the Intellevision had some weird power stuff the turbo I think waould just be something different...very differnt...who even has one of those?

maybe its that pcp type thing that that guy posted about and asked him to build awhile ago, i remember ben saying he was "intrigued"by it
