designing a gaming PC case for a large Swedish company

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

designing a gaming PC case for a large Swedish company

Hi everyone - I'm an industrial design student, currently working on a 'live' project (design speak for a real project with a client rather than an exercise). A case manufacturer and a large electronics (mainly gaming PC gear) called Webhallen have approached my year at uni to design a 'gaming chassis'. It's a competition and the winner will have their case put into production so as you can probably tell it's quite exciting the for gamers and designers involved. The project is being publicized on a Swedish gaming hardware site (owned by CNET) called Sweclockers.

The link to the discussion via google translate is here: http://translate.google.co.uk/translate ... ry_state0=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

My concepts are here: http://www.sweclockers.com/forum/showth ... did=885350" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (no need for translation its an english speaking thread)

and Webhallen (main client) has done some nice articles about the project on their website here: http://www.webhallen.com/list_group.php ... group=1593" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (I'm the English guy in the still at the beginning of the video)

I'll posts elements of my designs below for discussion - I'd love some feedback. Also there's a link to vote for your favorite design: http://www.webhallen.com/list_group.php ... group=1596" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Please take a look at all of them as there's some pretty interesting ideas from my classmates.

again to vote it's : http://www.webhallen.com/list_group.php ... group=1596" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
