radica s-video mod
I am fed up with the radica's crappy composite signal, so I want to use s-video instead. I know there was once a picture of segasonicfan's s-video mod in the radica sticky, but the picture is long gone. So to those who have done it (I'm looking at YOU, samthornley) where are the points for luma and Chroma on the board?

The schematic is still available on his site!

I once saw a picture showing the luma and chroma solder points on the board. I'll try to find it for you.
EDIT: That was fast!

Re: radica s-video mod
thanks. also, I remember Ben saying that he could not get an actual controller working on it. I am sure it can still work with an actual controller, so I am going to try and use a 6 button for this.

Re: radica s-video mod
From what I've read the original controllers are 5v tolerant. I think it would work if you used a 5v regulator to power the Radica instead of 3.3v.

Re: radica s-video mod
ah, good then. Yeah, the 3.3v is the main reason a lot of cartridges won't work on it, so I planned on using 5v instead(I need my sonic 3 and knuckles!)
