I've been wanting to make a portable but I don't know where to start. I want to know since this is my first portable what kinda experience I would need. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

btw...
I have Ben's book but at 500 pages it's kinda overwhelming.

well i started with the controller layout. where things go and where i'd put them. then start getting into the n64. the controller is fairly easy. just take a look inside and you'll figure out how it works with ease. trust me
