Blatant advertising is not permitted on Benheck. A mod should delete/lock this.

Doesn't look like there's anything on there right now. You're right. Just keep a watchful eye out for it.

It wasn't a buy it now I don't think... May have just been a one-time deal. Try searching the obvious, Sintra.

What's the progress on the PSone screen with XCVG? If he doesn't want it I'm interested.

Are lead acid batteries okay for portables?
I'm thinking of putting in a 5 Ah (5000mAh) lead acid battery from Radioshack into my next portable, after my N64p is done. I don't know what system I will be doing, probably PS2 or another N64. Ps2s alone use 1.9 amps, so an external battery is almost required. Or for N64 I could jack up playtime. ...

How did you get the c stick to work for c buttons? I figured I would do mine with the c stick on top of tact switches, but if there's a better way, I'm all for it. Looks great so far!

What kind of prices would you offer? something I might look into for my n64p if I could come up with a good machinable case.

Re: Ponoko cases?
I was once planning on making some stuff from ponoko, but I wouldn't want to use them as a custom case manufacturer. The only stuff they can do is 2D laser cuts, and that would result in a boxy portable. You could bend the sides with heat and have a funky shaped top, but by that time you could have ...

Re: alternative to Sintra
I believe there is something called Kydex... BTW, Sintra isn't expensive. Go on eBay. I got 40 8" x 10" sheets for $20 plus shipping! A steal!

Re: Are Ni-Cd Batteries okay?
Yes, it will work. I have a few of these lying around and used to use one in my N64 portable. "Memory" probably won't be an issue because with the amount of current you'll be pulling from them you're likely to discharge the batteries enough when you use them, but if you're really concerned you can ...

Are Ni-Cd Batteries okay?
I bought a 2000 mAh 7.2 volt Nickel Cadmium battery plus charger at Radioshack for $20. Many 'Portable How Tos' I see say to use either li-ion or ni-mh batteries, but this was the best battery I could find there for cheap. Will it work okay, or should I return it? I heard ni-cd batteries develop 'me...

Re: right capacitor for pth08000
Actually it isn't smart to reuse old electrolytic capacitors. They dry out and change capacitance levels and screw everything up. Best to use new ones.
