Re: How to fill holes, make it seem like they were never there?
The best way would be to super glue a small piece of plastic on the back side. Then use epoxy to fill the holes. Sand it smooth, then use Bondo spot putty to fill in any lttle pinholes. Sand it super smooth , then paint it.

Re: 3.5" LCD with RGB input? (for Nomad modding)
Well that's your opinion. I did the rgb mod on a Psone 5" and nobody I showed it to saw any difference between it and composite. It's the same thing with HD. I know a lot of people who have HD televisions and they can't tell when an HD program or a SD program is on. Most people are NOT videophiles a...

Re: 3.5" LCD with RGB input? (for Nomad modding)
There's a HUGE difference in size with a 3.5" and a 7". There's no way there would be a noticeable difference doing an RGB mod on a 3.5" screen. Or if there was a minor difference 99.9% of the people out there would not notice it.

They are a little bit cheaper. Around $500-$800 for a nice one.Kageningen wrote:Ok thanks, thats in my dads pay range. I would hate to make another thread for this one question, so with being said, are n64 portables any cheaper and if so how much?

Re: GameCube Portable Screen Installation
You need the controller board from the t.v. to run the lcd. If the t.v. had a video input then you will hook that up to the Gamecube. If it didn't have a video input then you are out of luck and won't be able to use it. Either way you need the controller board that the screen was hooked up to from t...

99.9% of the time it is a wiring problem. Wired incorrectly, grounding problem, shorts, wires to long, etc.

Re: Help identifying a component
Black with a white line on the end is most likely a capacitor. It would have had a number on it. With it burnt, then the only way to find out the value is get a service manual or post a topic in a forum where the item is popular and ask someone to open theirs up and get you the number.
