Re: Question on nes portable
Probably not ALL of the games but a Super Joy 3 is probably something you'll want to get your hands on. Otherwise you'll be looking for a flashcart, which can get expensive.

Intec/HipGear screen/mobo dimensions?
I'm wanting to know how big the internals are for the screenpads. Height, width, and depth. Both the screen by itself and together with the mobo.

Re: A VERY different Super Joy 3 NOAC cartridge slot
I think I know what I'm going to do with it, instead of trying to figure out the pinout, I'm just going to extend the connector to move the cartridge around (which by itself is the size of a board-thin AA.) Edit: taking a closer look at the pins of the cartridge outside of its casing, at least 8 pin...

Re: A VERY different Super Joy 3 NOAC cartridge slot
It might be NES with a few pins missing. You know, the ones that were never really used. But not all of them for some odd reason... It IS weird... Darn those Super Joy makers.

Re: A VERY different Super Joy 3 NOAC cartridge slot
The connector has 68 pins, which is neither NES or Famicom, the same with the cartridge.

A VERY different Super Joy 3 NOAC cartridge slot
So I picked up a Power Player / Super Joy 3 system thinking I would make it into a portable NES when I discovered this. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v290/gamemaster87/Power%20Player/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It's unlike anything I've ever seen on the forums. I've got no id...

Re: A few NOAC questions
I would see if the +5v, Audio (A), and Video (Y) are in the same place and if there are the same number of wires. If so, attack it from that point of reference.

Re: Console/Screen Voltage and mA Guide
Does anyone have an approximation of the Super Joy mAh? I know there's several models, I just recently found one with the cartridge slot the size of two gameboy games stacked on top of each other, where the battery pack usually is. But a rough estimate would be nice.

Re: A few NOAC questions
Looks like you have one very similar to the one I have except yours is blue, Here's a controller pinout. It might work, I haven't tried it on mine yet.

Awesome! So to be clear;
1) Do NOT parallel them and attach the positives to B+, and negatives to B-
or
2) DO parallel them and attach them as you said?

Re: Lithium Polymer Batteries -- How to wire and what to buy.
I meant to the board. Would I just buy the first pcb listed and skip over the COM? Or is there another I should buy.

Re: Screens You CAN and CANNOT Use
Anyone know if the V.Smile games work? They have an LCD screen and you can also watch the V.Smile games on the TV. No they have to have a video input NOT output. I know. I was just wondering to see if anyone had cracked one open to see if the LCD had its own board or not, or if it was set up pretty...
