is it possible to hardwire to lcd pcb for inputs??
So I have an HP VS17E. I have removed the power supply portion and it no runs on my atx power supply. I want to put it in my pelican type case with a wii and 360. I have the 360 bit done, and running off of the power supply, and hardwired to the vga port. Everything is great there. Now the wii I und...

Re: 19" monitor combined with 7" circuit to accept componet
I've still been googling but can't seem to find anything on anyone trying to wire it for vga. Everyone is just trying to make cables. I did find that some monitors seem to support ypbpr signals over vga so I'm going to look into that. I guess that all the wii laptop projects I'm seeing are using scr...

Re: 19" monitor combined with 7" circuit to accept componet
That's what I thought. I have tried soldering to it yet though. I have a NTSC, does that still output RGB? Or is it YPbPr? What I am trying to figure out is if I direct wire the wii mainboard to the vga port on the screen, will I be able to use 480i and 480p signals? Or should I just solder and try ...

19" monitor combined with 7" circuit to accept componet
Hey guys, I want to make my own wii portable. From what i can find, the wii will not put out vga so i can't just hardwire it to the db15 on the monitor. But I have this little 7" lcd from a cheap wallmart dvd setup for a car. I have it apart and it seems like there is circuit board for all the volum...

Re: 360 and LCD inside a metal briefcase....
I figured out my lcd monitor. I have to do an amp test to figure out what it's drawing but I did get it to run off a power connecter from the atx power supply. Does anyone know of any other projects like this? I'm just curious to see some other layouts. I've got my case and bunch of aluminum to help...

Re: can I slim down an atx power supply?
I decided to just make my case a little fatter. This way the PSU can fit in whole and untouched.

can I slim down an atx power supply?
Hey guys/gals, I am in the process of putting a 17" flatscreen, 360 and an atx power supply into a new metal briefcase. It seems like everything would fit. Except the power supply. So far I have removed everything from the 360 and extended everything, I have the flatscreen ripped apart and I disecte...

Re: RC car idea
I think the reciever with the same crystal will just glitch back and forth. The anteneas will be too close and you will just get a lot of cross talk. Not to mention that going am or even FM will cause a lot of interferance if you go with a lot of metal on metal moving parts. Why not get a used Spekt...

360 and LCD inside a metal briefcase....
Hey all... I am putting a 360 and an HP 17" lcd inside a breifcase. I have converted the board over to an atx computer power supply. The lcd screen that I have has a bad power supply. In doing research I found that most LCD's only require 5 and 12 volts and a ground to run. And they only use about 1...

PS360 questions...
I have a DS3 controller and a spare wireless 360 controller. I want to jam the ds3 into the 360 shell but I don't want to do the tact switches. I see that there is some guy on the net who can use the 360 wireless board just for its contacts. I'm having a hard time tracking down exactly what needs to...
