Thanks!low_budget wrote:The cartridge slot is Digikey part #A31721-ND.
It isn't the exact same pitch as the original connector, but it is so close that it works fine and I've never had a problem.

Re: I built a NES pretty much from scratch.
Mind sharing where you get your 72 pin cartridge connectors?
Nice work on the system, by the way. I like the idea of using a whole new PCB for the RGB mod.

Re: NES 72 pin replacement problems
Your new connector might not have been a good one. Make sure none of the pins on the new one got pushed back (should be obvious). Also, see if the game works better if you don't push it down. If the new connector is bad, most ebay sellers offer some warranty on them if that's where you got it from.

WTS: Wii mini
What the title says. My costs are $100 for the system + 13% Ontario sales tax ($113) + $9 toll to cross the bridge or tunnel ($122, but could be less if I'm buying more than one) + shipping. I am willing to sell for a modest profit, make offers here. I plan on going to Windsor with my friend on Frid...

**** I'm really sorry, guys. I hate being "that guy"
So, what does everybody want me to do with it? I really don't want to keep this thing any longer than I have.

Got it. I like acrylic, too. It looks like it should turn out pretty well.ARTbyTROY wrote:@ nevermind1534,
Thanks. But only the back will be MDF, the rest of it is made of sweet, sweet acrylic... it only looks like MDF because the paper is still on it.

Looks good so far! I also like that you're building it out of MDF.
