Re: MGC 2012 thread!
Yeah Johnlight definitely means "It was last weekend :(" since it's over. Hopefully 4 months is enough time to rebuild civilization out of discarded DDR dance mats and plastic guitars after the Mayan Phenomenon for MGC 2013 to take place. The Mayan calendar didn't take into account leap years, so t...

Re: MGC 2012 who's going thread
I'll be there for my third year, I've got a room at the sheraton right now. I'm bringing a portable gamecube this year and probably the parts to build a quick simple portable with my friend who wants to learn. I'll bring my own tools this year marshall.

Man I really hope to get one of these bad boys soon, but I haven't even placed my order yet. I'm going to end up like the second batch of pandora orderers.

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
I just read on the 64drive site that it'll support microSD but there is no update of this on the official thread? "Storage 64Mbytes (512Mbit) SDRAM CompactFlash memory card slot (up to 128GB) MicroSD memory card slot (up to 32GB) " Taken from http://64drive.retroactive.be/features.php" onclick="win...

Re: MGC 2011 thread!
I'm really excited, I'm bringing 3 people with me as well. Getting to talk to everyone again this year is gonna be fun. And I might like the group project, ask me if I've got some parts that I can bring and I'll try. I can't hang at the bar and all that though, being 17 and stuff. Also I vote for ev...

Got my room reserved!
Although I don't think I'll have any portables done by then, I can bring in a case half done or something though.

Re: MGC 2011 thread!
Looks like I can go this year! My dad decided it would be a nice vacation, we'll even be staying at the sheraton hotel, so we'll be there constantly. Plus I'm bringing 3 classic game enthusiasts (ie my friends). Sounds like i won a sweepstakes or something. So now I have enough money to buy stuff wh...

Re: MGC 2011 thread!
Well that was just thinking about it, actually calculating it at least $160. Our best working car is a van that maybe gets around 20 miles per gallon. 540 miles to brookfield WI, / 20 mpg = 27 gallons of gas 27 gallons x $3 pergallon = $81 $81 x 2 for trip both ways, about $162 for gas alone. Plus h...

Re: MGC 2011 thread!
I might not be able to make it this year, but I'm hoping I can, it's the $200 round trip just for gas that's the issue. If I do go though I hope to have a new portable done by then.
