I'm sticking them in with the label facing forward... What is the model of the cartridge adapter? If you look at...

Re: I've returned!!!
EDIT: I've tried playing LoZ II on my toaster box style NES and have the game lag/status bar corruption issue, so I guess it could be said that the Retro Duo IS able the play the game exactly the same as an original system. :P However, I have not tested it on one of the newer top loader NES systems ...

LC and I were working on this problem months ago. I don't know if she had much luck, but I stopped working on it because of time constraints. To be honest though, I found that most of the sites that showed the pinouts for the zapper were wrong. I'm thinking that if I wanted to play Duckhunt I'd need...

I've returned!!!
LovableChevy dear, you need to adjust your compatability list a bit. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link works okay, unless you get too many monsters on the screen and it starts lagging. When that happens, the status line at the top of the screen does a horizontal scrolling effect that results in multip...

Re: nes/snes retro duo! w/ pics, review, & hacking info!
very very interesting... *waits impatiently for ebay auction to end for super scope receiver* i know i could do it by dissecting an snes controller... but... i'd rather have it nice and neat looking by simply switching the snes cord off the super scope receiver for the zapper's nes cord. http://www...

Re: nes/snes retro duo! w/ pics, review, & hacking info!
There IS a way to test to see if Duck Hunt is liked by the Retro Duo or not. You can at least see if you can use a controller in port 1 to control the duck's movements. i did not know this! i'll have to try that! It might not have been intentional, but it is/was a way of making the game harder by a...

Incidentally, for anyone wanting a good laugh today. The company Slackers has decided to sell the Retro Duo for $79.99 and is telling customers they should make reservations as it is an extremely rare system and sells out almost immediately.   Yikes! What a ripoff! I really do wa...

LovableChevy, I just got home from my local Play-n-Trade. They received their order for the Retro Duo from Innex at 12pm today (finally... the owner has little interest in ordering from them again though. slow service and poor customer service). I personally tested 2 different copies of Battletoads ...

Okay, first off fix your link - long ones that stretch the page drive me nuts. type your link here Are you talking about a DS as in the handheld Nintendo DS? What does that have to do with this topic? LOL, I fixed it... it was an on the fly cut-n-paste post before my comp...

Something like this then?
Maybe I missed it on here already, but there is a Famicom adapter for the DS. Maybe someday someone will also make a Super Famicom attachment as well... (and maybe get rid of the darn region lockouts too...) Famicom Nintendo DS addon Personal comment: I've been thinking of getting a DS for myself. A...

tried Battletoads today. It freezes towards the end of the second stage. I tested it on the retro duo. This conflicts with the email I received from VideoGameCentral.com today, stating that the Retro Duo plays Battletoads with no troubles. On Mar 5, 2008, at 8:56 AM, VideoGameCentral wrote: Joel, W...

tried Battletoads today. It freezes towards the end of the second stage. You neglect to state what system you tried it on. I had already posted that Battletoads freezes on virtually all Famiclones, the only known exception being Yobo's original FC Console. The request was for how it works with the ...
