Re: How the GBA SP Frontlight works and some questions
I don't really see you're question. If you want to see the screen coming off then look up that video guide I was talking about but don't listen to all that BS about peeling the back of the light off.

Re: gameboy color overclock
Did you buy your crystal? Also, are the crystal's polarized? And where'd you get such a small switch? Is it a single pole double throw?

Re: How the GBA SP Frontlight works and some questions
Blah sorry about that double post... I actually just took an exacto knife and peeled off the plastic to expose the contacts that I broke off and hooked it up from there so sorry. That's actually a pretty good method to fixing broken lights tho if you had the same problem as me. Just sorta scrape at ...

Re: How the GBA SP Frontlight works and some questions
Ok so a 3mm LED will fit. What specs should I look for? Obviously I want the brightest one I can find, but what about volts and other specs? What should I be looking for. And what type of resistor should I use? Also, where are the power supplies on the GBC Motherboard? I'd look with a continuity che...

Re: Broken PSP
Is it definitely the laser that's broken? I was playing a game and it was taking forever to load so I shut it off and it hasn't read discs since so that makes sense but is there any way to be sure?

Re: How the GBA SP Frontlight works and some questions
By tiny do you mean something like this: http://www.solarbotics.com/product/tled/ Or could I just get a 3mm one from RadioShack? And if I got one from RadioShack should I diffuse it? Also how can you tell what type of resistor to use depending on the voltage? Is there a chart with values somewhere o...

Broken PSP
I have an original psp that hasn't read disks for several years now. Is there some way to fix that? If not can I use it for parts for Overclocking a GBC, or rehouse a GBC or GBA SP inside it's case? If I can, can I hook up either of those to the screen already in the PSP? Thanks

How the GBA SP Frontlight works and some questions
So I was gonna frontlight my GBC with a broken GBA SP that I had. I was gonna follow Choochoobot's guide, but when it came to removing the light, I was uncertain of how to do it and looked up a video. That video stupidly suggested that after removing the light, you should take the light's positive a...
