Re: Rise from your grave.
But yeah, so my point is, portable N64 = good idea, IMO. :) That said, if Marshall ever decides to go all out on a portable N64, nobody will ever be able to top it, as it'll likely feature a custom, single-PCB design with a from-scratch miniaturized N64, 64drive and custom digital RGB video circuit...

Re: Rise from your grave.
I hate to admit it, but Bac's site was the most active portablizing site in the last year. But now he's gone crazy and deleted that site and exposed himself for a lunatic, so that's gone too. :P It's fun to see old members logging on again, though! What have you all been up to? I've learned a ton a...

Re: Rise from your grave.
Hah, it took me a minute to remember my login info, but I wanted to stop in and say "hey." These forums were a large part of my life at one time, and although I've moved on to other things, as most of us have, I'm still tinkering around with videogame consoles. Honestly, being slightly more financia...

Mass-produced GC-style N64 joystick replacements - $10.95
Hey guys, I'm back from the dead just for a minute because I stumbled upon something I thought you guys would appreciate. If you all already know about this, I apologize, but I searched first and didn't see any mention about it. http://www.amazon.com/Redesigned-REPLACEMENT-Joystick-Controller-Thumbs...

Wow. Blast to the past... Please note the date of the last post in this thread, and be prepared for a mod to lock it now. They really don't like it when people bring threads back from the dead. In the mean time, all I can say for sure is that YMMV with this mod. It seems as though most people have t...

Meh, sure, I'll contribute to the longest running thread on these forums. This is the most recent photo I have of myself, taken almost a year ago at Lake Michigan. http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/262400_2274382454778_1105194803_4462824_1160735_n.jpg Ignore the fat fart in the backgrou...

Re: Anime thread (split from TV quality debate thread)
*bump* Back from the dead. The last time I was here, someone started arguing with me about anime and John had to jump in to break it up. Glad to see it's more universally accepted these days. This seems like a perfect opportunity to post this: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/ElectricRain" onclick="...

I haven't seen you post in forever man, though you'd disappeared from these boards.
I did... I swing by every once in a while when I hear about something big, like this project.

Yeah, twelve computers all running a P2P chat client may be the issue. As much as I was trying to avoid this, a dedicated chat server might be the way to go...

Who knows stuff about networking?
Hey, so, I haven't created a thread here in a while, but, I figured there might be someone with some insight here. Even if you don't know much about networking, just give me your opinion anyway. It's kind of a logic question too. Here's the situation... I have a client with 12 computers. Almost all ...
