ok that sucks about the umpc. i find the ps3's boards are more heat tolerant than most boards.

you're gonna need what they call a tri-wing screwdriver. i filed an allen wrench down but they are cheap online. you could also try the melting plastic pen screwdriver method. google it.
hot glue is a necessarily tool and a dremel could be helpful.

naw man, it's simple. capacitors don't allow current flow.. resistors do. you can measure the farads in circuit. plus soldering is easy.
