Finally figured out how to relocate DD and did it, the disc spins and all but the gamecube stays at the logo, and doesnt even go to the menu? Any troubleshooting or fixes i could do? Ok the screen problem is fixed for now and i foud some ribbon cable and was able to relocate the memory cart slot. I want to relocate the DD an i have been looking for a reference on how to do it, is there a guide? ( ill try to post pics soon)

Ok thanks, i will check that out later today. But i was messjng with it just to see ifit still worked and it does except that the screen im using is like crystal clear attimes, but the it blurs out into blured colored squares? Ok I grounded the slider and I works and the game I'm testing doesn't use the button part. The ground always confuses meneven though it's so easy and I got the joystick working finally cuz I grounded it haha. But thank you again soon my portable will be about 50 - 60% done!

Maybe not the slider, but the button part has both wires connected and it doesn't work. Unless it only works along with the slider thing?

Ok I'm stuck I wired the left trigger slider thing and the button for it and they are not working. I soldered them to the same holes to and everything else works. What am I doing wrong??

I was soldering all the points for the joystick and I got them all in but two of them fell out with the traces. I have been trying to find where to connect them for an hour but had no luck. I never took the original heatsink of the mobo off and I put the fan to where it is blowing down the fins of it. Also the regulator (which I relocated) also gets warmer and wamer so would putting a heatsink on the back and in front of the fan in the case help?
